Operalesque, Hump Fest and Androgynous 80’s
Your free, weekly, curated week in nightlife for New Orleans
Up All Night: New Orleans is brought to you in association with The AllWays Lounge: Serving up the best burlesque, drag and variety shows every single night of the week in the Marigny.
Skip the chat, take me to me this week’s issue!
A week brimming with possibilities: some 73 shows listed this week! Themes include opera, K-pop, rave culture, lube wrestling, Latin music and disco; not to mention the return of Dan Savage’s Hump Fest - a celebration of sexy short films. We also have a review of the Storyville Museum by our very own Vivacious Miss Audacious, an interview with Dusky Waters, co-founder of the Black Americana Festival (see fundraiser event flyer, below) and a first night review of Tony-Award-winning play Doubt. May we also recommend Monday night’s Androgynous 80’s night at the Original Nite Cap? I think we may. Have a fun one, and as always, much love.
