Hey, we’re back with you after an unexpected hiatus thanks to Ida (and a couple of bonus crises just for good measure). We hope that everyone’s doing alright after the trials that the storm brought, and that you and yours are safe and approaching normal life again. Obviously, much of the city’s nightlife and venues took some enforced time off, but as we take a look at the calendar, it seems like things are back in full effect, which is a delight to see! Our first listings back are positively bulging with options for this week, including one of the busiest weekends we’ve seen in a long time!
You can take a look at the full diary right here!
Some highlights include the reopening of the Music Box Village with an all-ages dance party, the return of the elaborately interactive Roll For Seduction, a new late-night burlesque romp at Palm & Pine, stand-up comedy coming back to the AllWays Lounge on Saturdays and at the same venue, Qween Quan bringing their cabaret to a primetime weekend slot, and Ms Juno’s Cabaret Noir brightening up midweeks.
We’re also excited to preview the rescheduled Keep It Klassy, as one of our city’s most exciting talents, Lady Lucerne, brings her one-womyn show to the Twilight Room. Plus, Dynamo present their regular recommendation for a great night in.
Let’s get out and support our venues and performers as they burst their way back onto the scene after some trying times! We’re happy to be back with you, hopefully see you out there! As always, much love.
